REFLECTION

St. Thomas Aquinas wrote that “Familiarity breeds contempt.” and perhaps this is the reason why when the Word of God is preached by someone we know too well, our tendency is to doubt and or reject God’s messenger. But God uses different ways to reach our very souls, including the most unlikely medium: a relative or a dear friend, whose not so holy ways are known to us. When this happens, just remember, it is the song and not the singer that matter.

Animosity. that’s the word. hahah but then let’s make it “being able to control ill emotions and just being civil.” pwede na? murag di gihapon. It actually sounds like not facing reality of wounded relationships. hahah maypa mu smile :))
